PUBLIC SPEECH – INTEGRITY

Sooner or later, everyone has to perform in front of an audience. And since the audience is very selfish, this activity can cause a lot of trouble.

As Mark Twain said: "The public does not expect anything from you at first", so do not worry, but it will be good to use some useful tips and review examples of public speaking.

Any example of public speaking begins with proper speech preparation. No matter how great the speaker's text may seem, you must understand that behind it, it is a lot of work and long hours of practice.

Special attention should be at the beginning and end of the speech. They are the ones who play the main role in the communication between the speaker and the listener. The introduction helps to create a first impression of the speaker, and the summary allows the audience to consolidate the information received.

During the preparation of the presentation, many questions may arise. For example, how do you start a public speech? The main thing here is to interest the audience from the beginning. The first impression of the speaker will accompany him throughout the speech.

In terms of conclusion, it is important to summarize the entire speech, underline the main ideas and recall the issues raised. The last phrases must have a certain emotional message and be expressive, in this way the listener can not only reward the speaker with applause, but also become a fan of his ideas. Body language is also very important for making a successful speech. It is a combination of expressions, gestures and movements that convey to the audience what is on your mind without using many words.

Know your audience

A little humor or a story at the beginning of your presentation will help you grab your audience's attention. Audiences generally like anecdote or a personal story during a speech.

However, regardless of whether your body language, voice or launch is good, a presentation will not be successful if the audience fails to grasp the message.
