Integrity Task Forces Go Digital

7th July 2023.

Our Integrity Task Forces go digital! We began a series of webinars for party representatives launching the program with a session on the quality of democracy and freedoms under the crises caused by the global pandemic. The speakers, Robert Benjamin, NDI CEE Regional Director, and DC Aleksandar Spasov, Political Advisor to the President of North Macedonia shared their views on the current situation, concluding that democratic, and accountable governance is equally important in times of crisis.

The second webinar sought to answer the following questions: How “forced” digitalization shapes political processes, communication, and decision making. Did various digital tools bring more inclusiveness and increased participation? What challenges did political parties experience while using digital channels of communication? Will digital communication remain equally relevant beyond COVID crisis?

Online sessions will continue taking place twice a week throughout June and July addressing various topics related to Integrity and COVID-19 crisis.
