NDI's SEE Regional Political Party Program gathered leaders of 28 political parties from Southeastern Europe and representatives of its partner organizations and foundations dedicated to democracy promotion for a three-day forum in Belgrade from 12 to 14 February 2016. Participants of the forum used this opportunity to exchange thoughts and experiences related to representation, discourse, responsiveness and integrity of political parties in the region. NDI was honored to welcome Governor Howard Dean, former DNC Chairman and presidential candidate as keynote speaker. Governor Dean gave an inspiring speech at the official opening of the event.
